Here’s a quick fat loss tip for you that you can start doing today. In fact, you can start applying this the next time you have a meal: slow down your eating.
A lot of people don’t know this, but it takes about 15 minutes before satiety (the feeling of fullness) starts to kick in. Imagine all the food you can eat in 15 minutes just because your stomach didn’t tell you instantly that you’ve had enough. One of the worst things you can do when it comes to food is rushing through what you eat. Eating slower than you usually do is a great strategy for calorie control and self-awareness. Remember, the only way to lose fat is by going on a calorie deficit. This strategy will help you eat less while still being satisfied with your meals.
From now on take your time. Get rid of the bad habit of chewing twice and gulping your food. Chew what’s in your mouth for AT LEAST 30 seconds before you swallow anything. Also, drink some water in between bites. This replaces a mouthful or two of food which will in turn help you eat less.
