Eating tuna doesn’t have to be bland and boring. Check out this quick homemade tuna sandwich recipe that will sure melt in your mouth. Great for a snack or a post-workout meal.
Total Cook Time: 10 minutes
What You Need:
- Canned tuna
- Hard-boiled eggs
- Bread of your choice
- Onions
- Light Mayonnaise
- Salt and Pepper
Preparation:
- First things first, get some hard-boiled eggs cooking in a pan. The number of eggs you need depend on how many servings you want to make. For 2 slices for example, you’ll only need about 1 or 2 eggs. If you don’t know how to make hard-boiled eggs, well, go ask Google.
- Eggs usually take about 10 minutes to cook so while that’s going on, prepare the tuna. Just like the eggs, how much tuna you want depends on how much you want to eat. Prep the tuna by heating it up in the microwave.
- Cut up some onions (about half a cup) and place it in a bowl. Put the tuna in the same bowl after it cooks.
- After the eggs are done, and chop them up into little pea-size pieces. Put them in the same bowl as the onions and tuna.
- Mix in the light mayo. If you’re using a can of tuna, I usually mix in around two spoons of mayo.
- Add in salt and pepper for taste.
- Devour your tuna sammich.
