Products and Services I Recommend
People always ask me what supplements and products I recommend.
Well, here they are all in one page.
My No-BS Disclosure: I am affiliated with a couple of the brands below. But as you might already know, I only recommend things that I actually believe in and use myself. Don’t spend your money on any of these products unless you feel that they will help you achieve your goals.
Must-Have Supplements (The Essentials)
Legion’s whey protein powder is an all-natural, grass-fed, and gluten-free (for those who are sensitive) product that doesn’t contain any artificial food dyes, MSG, and other junk additives or fillers.. In order words, this is some high-quality stuff that you rarely find from other supplement companies. Oh and it actually tastes delicious too.
At only 100 calories per serving, this is one of the best protein powders out there whether you’re trying to shed fat or put on muscle.
The one supplement that single-handedly replaced my multi-vitamin and over a dozen other supplements. One serving a day is equivalent to getting 12 servings of fruits and vegetables, as well as antioxidants, digestive enzymes, herbs, vitamins & minerals, probiotics, and prebiotics.
Other Useful Supplements
As a business owner, it’s sometimes hard to stay on task and get stuff done on a daily basis. AlphaBrain helps to keep me focused, improves my memory, and basically increases my mental performance when I’m having a brain-fart type of day. Ever see the movie Limitless? AlphaBrain is what some people call the “Limitless Pill”. But obviously this is the legal version and not as crazy strong as the real thing (whatever that may be).
For those who need more of a kick than coffee can provide, Legion’s Pulse pre-workout is a great alternative. I honestly think this is the best pre-workout drink in the market because it’s free of fillers, has all the great ingredients you need for a pre-workout, and it isn’t overpriced.
Tools & Apps
A great calorie and macro tracking app available for iOS, Android, and Windows phones. With over 5 million foods in their database, MFP is my go-to app for food logging. Looking for other alternatives? Here are other good calorie-tracking apps I recommend: MyMacros+, Lose It!, and MyNetDiary.
One of my all-time favorite tools on the interwebz. EatThisMuch is a meal plan generator that creates meal templates for you based on your food preferences, calorie/macro numbers, budget, and eating schedule. Because I’m not an advocate of rigid meal plans, this is a tool that I use with my clients that allows them to have the flexibility to create their own meal plans based on their food preferences.
