The incline bench press is an exercise that works out the upper chest. When we think of this exercise, a bench set up on a 45 degree angle instead of a flat bench is what usually comes to mind. If 45 degrees is the setup that you usually do, you might have to change that up next time you work out your upper chest. Research has proved that doing an incline pressing exercise on a 30 to 35 degree angle works out the upper chest much better than the common 45 degrees. 30 degrees is the preferable angle because any higher will start to involve your shoulder muscles.
